Leyland 600 and 680 cu. in. vertical engine mounting bushes set of 16

New rubber bushes. Moulded from tooling manufactured for the Sydney Bus Museum.

Made from nitrile rubber compound to Shore hardness specification of 70A. (Intermediate between pencil eraser and skateboard wheel)

The bushes suit UK PD2, PD3 and PS2 buses and Export OPD2 and OPS2 models with either Leyland 0600 or 0680 motor.

Each motor requires 16 bushes : eight short and eight long. The bushes are supplied as a full set of 16 pieces suitable for one vehicle.

The product is warranted against all faults in design or manufacture for 2 years from date of sale.

The drawing at left shows exact original dimensions. Made from nitrile rubber compound to specified hardness rating Shore 70A, (intermediate between pencil eraser and skateboard wheel). note: prior to fitting, the ring needs to have a thin radial slit made in it with a hacksaw so as to open it out enough to slip over the cast aluminium spigot on the motor. see sketch.
