This book is the rarest of the rare, on the subject, by two respected researchers.

138 pp. published  1963 by AETA.   Signed by author David Keenan, although not dedicated.

In very good condition, however the dust cover is torn on the front. It has been preserved by neatly -done lamination. Hard covers are undamaged and the binding is unaffected. The book has clearly been well-read so deserves gentle treatment.

over 100 photos all B&W, mostly by the authors. Most photos will never be seen elsewhere. Many maps, fleet lists,

Mechanical and electrical detail of the trains are studied closely, as well as all operational matters. Development of rolling stock, maintenance centres, Elcar, interurbans, electric locos such as 45 class and 46 class are described in detail. No other publication addresses the subject in this depth.
